Mini Gems Emporium 2021 continues into fourth day

The Mini Gems Emporium 2021 showcased pearl and jade lots on its fourth day (20 December) at Mani Yadana Jade Hall as per the health protocols for COVID-19.
Both local and foreign jade traders observed jade lots displayed inside and outside of Mani Yadana Jade Hall.
On the third day of the emporium, the number of jade lots from 1 to 250 were on sale through an open tender system and 199 lots have been sold. The number of lots from 251 to 500 was also sold through the open bidding yesterday. The traders carefully observed jade lots and submitted their bids.
Bidding was closed at 3 pm and the winners for those jade lots will be declared at 11 am on 21 December.

Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Deputy Minister U Min Min Oo and members of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee inspected the showcase and bidding system.
Furthermore, 330 pearl lots were also sold through an open tender system between 18 and 19 December at the emporium. Jade lot numbers from 501-780 will be put on sales on 21 December as well. — MNA
