Mini Gems Emporium 2021 concludes successfully

The Mini Gems Emporium 2021, which was held in line with the COVID-19 restrictions, successfully concluded at Mani Yadana Jade Hall yesterday.
On the final day of the emporium, 280 jade lots, out of the number of jade lots from 501 to 780, were on sale through an open tender system and 228 jade lots have been sold.
During the emporium, a total of 1,110 lots, including 330 pearl lots and 780 jade lots were put on sale under the open tender system. The local and foreign merchants openly observed pearl and jade lots displayed at the hall and a total of 952 lots, including 330 pearl lots and 622 jade lots, were sold out during the five-day emporium, according to the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee.
Myanmar has held Gems Emporiums since 1964. A total of 114 emporiums was held successfully. Nineteen out of 114 emporiums were on sale in local currency and this is the 96th emporium on sale in foreign currency. — MNA
