ONE Championship Strawweight World Championship to be held on 14 Jan

LOCAL NEWS

ONE Championship will launch its newest event in the new year 2022 with a Strawweight World Championship named Heavy Hitters featuring a knockout card of world-class fighters.
The event will be held in Singapore on 14 January.
“In the main event, ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion Xiong Jing Nan stands on the verge of clearing out the weight class, but standing in her way is 4-ranked Japanese submission ace, Ayaka Miura. With Xiong holding the record for most knockouts in the division and Miura owning the most tap outs, get ready for an explosive clash of styles,” ONE Championship event organizers said.
“Plus, the precision and technique of the towering Roman Kryklia go up against the iron chin and raw power of Murat Aygun, with Kryklia’s ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title hanging in the balance.
Also on the star-studded card are Saemapetch versus Tawanchai, the debut of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s protege Saygid Izagakhmaev, and Muay Thai phenom Supergirl, so mark your calendars, check your local listings, and download the ONE Super App now!,” the ONE officials added.
There are a total of six main cards plus six lead cards in the championship event. — GNLM
