Maha Bandoola Park crowded with visitors on Independence Day

The Maha Bandoola Park in the heart of Yangon was crowded with people on the public holiday, the 74th Independence Day.
The Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) temporarily closed 62 parks and playgrounds to carry out effective preventive measures against COVID-19 and reopened the Maha Bandoola Park starting 3 November 2021 from 5 am to 6 pm daily.
The YCDC also extended the opening hours of the park from 5 am to 9 pm daily starting 2 January 2022 for the public who strictly follow the COVID-19 health rules. — Pwint Thitsar/GNLM
