Pre-match press conference held for Myanmar vs Japan match

A pre-match press conference between Myanmar and Japan Group C match of 2022 Asian Cup Women’s Championship was held on 20 January.
The first day of Group C will be held on January 21 (today) at 2:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time. South Korea will also play against Viet Nam at 8:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
In the pre-match press conference, Myanmar head coach U Tin Myint Aung said, “Myanmar team has been taking training for this match since winning the previous qualifiers.
“Adequate time was given, but due to COVID situation, the international tournament was postponed. Thanks to the players who gave their best training in difficult situations, unlike at other times.
“I believe they can do their best. The Japanese team is strong in women’s football. We will compete to the best of our ability,” the Myanmar head coach added.
Next, Myanmar women’s team captain Khin Malar Tun said, “We will not only play against Japan but also against South Korea and Viet nam in the group.
“I’m really excited to play in a group match against such a powerful team. No worries. We will play the best we can,” Khin Malar Tun commented. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
