Union Information Minister meets YMBA, Interfaith Friendship Organization

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn received officials from the YMBA (Young Men’s Buddhist Association) and the Interfaith Friendship Organization in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
First, the Union minister said that the government prioritizes the peace processes including the ways to ensure state stability and peaceful mindset of people for their keeps. Quick public participation will make success.
The Diamond Jubilee Union Day was successfully held through the cooperation works of people and relevant officials.
He then underscored the respect to the Interfaith Friendship Organization, efforts of officials of the organization for the awareness of basic concepts of religions for the people to be mature with the belief in religion and media related ways to provide true news to the people.
He also mentioned the Prime Minister for his efforts in improving the education sector as well as the state economy and urged the organization to cooperate for state stability.
U Ye Tun, chairman of the YMBA explained the activities of the association and online training for 38 Mingala Dhamma and Abhidhamma.
Then, the YMBA secretary, Vice chairman of Interfaith Friendship Organization and officials discussed their respective sectors and the Union Minister coordinated the discussion. — MNA
