8th 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee holds second-day meeting of 10th Plenary Meeting

The second day meeting of the tenth Plenary Meeting of the eighth 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee in progress.

The second-day session of the tenth plenary meeting of the 8th 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee was organized at the Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Yangon yesterday.
The meeting was attended by the members of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee led by Chairman Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Bhamo Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa, the Director-General of Religious Affairs Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and other officials of departments concerned.
Bhamo Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa presided over the meeting and Joint Secretary Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Setthila acted as the master of ceremonies.
During the meeting, Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Visuddhaca Bhivamsa discussed the Vinicchaya matters during the term of the eighth State Sangha Maha Nayaka Group (First Subcommittee) while Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Bhaddanta Candavamsa Lankara Bhivamsa reported on religious activities and Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Sihanada on education sector.
At the second session of the second-day meeting, Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita, Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dvipitakadhara Bhaddanta Vagita presented the Vinicchaya activities during the third term of the eighth State Sangha Maha Nayaka Group (First Subcommittee) while Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Bhaddanta Indacariya discussed religious matters, Agga Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dhammakathika Bahujanahitadhara Dr Bhaddanta vicakkhana Linkara Bhivamsa about education-related matters.
Then, Joint Secretary Sayadaw Bhaddanta Setthila sought approval for the reports of activities conducted during the third term of the eighth State Sangha Maha Nayaka Group (First Subcommittee).
Afterwards, the Sayadaws successfully concluded the tenth plenary meeting of the 8th 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee.
Disciples under the auspices of Kyaikkasan Weiluwun (Shwegyin) Monastery Sayadaw Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Manita, the Good Familiar Co, Ltd family and donors offered alms for the whole day for 32 times to the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee member Sayadaws who attended the ceremony yesterday. — MNA
