Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing organized an down alms donation to five monks led by Sayadaw Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Vilasa of Yadana Hman Monastery of Pyinmana Township marking the Diamond Jubilee of the ministry yesterday.
Then, they organized a ceremony to honour Yadana Hman Monastery Sayadaw Bhaddanta Vilasa who received the Saddhamma Jotikadhaja title of the government and donated K20 million cash contribution of the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of International Cooperation, Myanmar embassies and other staff officers for heavy maintenance works to the main building of Yadana Hman Monastery.
At noon, the ceremony marking the 75th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Union minister delivered the remarks and began the final round of debating contests and impromptu talks.
Then, the staff officers and low-rank employees who dutifully served the duties for the country and the ministry, the staff who successfully completed the 2020-2021 training of Central Institutes of Civil Service (CICS) (Lower and Upper Myanmar), best writer for Thar Kaung Taman Magazine for 2021, winners of debating contest and impromptu talks were awarded and other funfairs were organized following the COVID-19 health rules. — MNA
