Over K500 million worth of ketamine were seized in Kunhing Township, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force conducted an inspection in Kunhing Township at 9 pm on 7 May. A search of the Mitsubishi Colt vehicle driven by Sai Naw Shen from Kali to Mongpyin at the Takaw Joint Inspection Station turned up 61 kilogrammes of ketamine worth over K500 million.
According to the investigation, the ketamine was transported from Kali to Mongpyin, so he was prosecuted and the perpetrators are still under investigation. — MNA
