Finalists of Myanmar squad to be released within few days

Myanmar national team head coach Antoine Hey will announce the final list of the Myanmar men’s national football team in the coming days for the 2023 Asian Cup third round Qualifiers.
The Myanmar national team is taking training in Thailand in preparation for the third round of the Asian Cup and will leave for Kyrgyzstan on 3 June for the third round of the Asian Cup Qualifiers.
The Myanmar team has been taking training in Thailand since 22 May in preparation for the Asian Cup Qualifiers and has played two international friendlies with one draw and one loss.
Myanmar drew 0-0 with Hong Kong in a friendly on 24 May and lost 2-0 to Bahrain in further a friendly on 27 May.
The Myanmar team played very responsively in the match against Bahrain and only lost due to two goals conceded near the end of the match.
Myanmar national team head coach Antoine Hey has selected 27 preliminary players and only a few players will be reduced.
Goalkeepers Kyaw Zin Phyo, Pyae Phyo Thu, Tun Nanda Oo, Defenders Kyaw Zin Lwin, Win Moe Kyaw, Soe Moe Kyaw, Nyein Chan, Ye Min Thu, David Htan, Hein Phyo Win, Aung Wunna Soe, Zaw Ye Tun, Midfielders Hlaing Bo Bo, Yan Naing Oo, Aung Naing Oo, Lwin Moe Aung, Maung Maung Lwin, Suam Lam Mang, Myat Kaung Khant, Hein Htet Aung, Htet Phyo Wai, Yan Kyaw Soe, Zaw Win Thein, Aung Myo Khant, Strikers Aung Kaung Marn, Than Paing, and Win Naing Tun are included in the preliminary list. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
