Q: This morning, former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated in shots while speaking at a political ceremony held in the Nara City of Japan. So, may I know Myanmar’s stance on it.
A: Myanmar is very sad to know about that event and it shocked us to hear this news. Myanmar strongly condemns the assassination. Mr Shinzo Abe is a good friend of Myanmar as well as an old friend. So, we are very sorrowful to hear about that event. Myanmar strongly condemns terrorists and terrorist organizations which committed terror acts at home and abroad. The SAC Chairman Prime Minister has sent letters of condolences. — MNA
