State Peace Talks Team discusses peace and development issues with LDU delegation

The State Peace Talks Team meets the Lahu Democratic Union-LDU delegation in Nay Pyi Taw on 8 July 2022.

The State Peace Talks Team met representatives from the Lahu Democratic Union-LDU at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre’s meeting room in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Member of the State Administration Council and Union Minister at the Office of the Union Government (1) Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Leader of the Peace Talks Team Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Member of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Secretary of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Lt-Gen Min Naung, General-Secretary of LDU Kyar Solomon, Joint Secretary (2) Kyar Ya Kok, and Member of the Central Executive Committee Kyar Phu attended the meeting.
The meeting was addressed by Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and LDU General Secretary Kyar Solomon and attendees discussed peace and development issues.
The second day of the meeting will be continued on 9 July.—MNA
