The final day of the group matches in the Viet Nam U-19 Invitational Tournament was held on 9 August in Binh Duong, Viet Nam and Myanmar lost to the Malaysia team 0-2.
The Myanmar team has not been able to get a good result in the group matches and lost all three games.
Team Myanmar tried to get a good result in this match, but they were defeated by two goals conceded at the beginning and near the end of the match. The Myanmar team made changes to the starting lineup and played with a lot of young players.
In the second minute of the game, Malaysia started to score and Nasir made the opener. The Myanmar team conceded goals within a few minutes of the match, so they had to play behind and could not play as expected.
In the second half, the Myanmar team tried to equalize but failed to score due to poor finishing. In the 87th minute, the second goal of the Malaysian team was scored by Abu Bakr.
As the Myanmar team lost all three group matches, they stood at the bottom of the group and will only have to play the third-place match. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
