Team Myanmar draws Viet Nam 1-1 in AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 opener

Myanmar’s national futsal team played a 1-1 tie match against the Asian powerhouse, Viet Nam, at the opener of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 group match held in Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday.
Both teams played a competitive game, and in the first half, neither side scored a goal. In the second half, the Vietnamese side scored first. Team Myanmar tried hard to win, but Ko Ko Lwin managed to score the equalizing goal.
“I am happy that we drew against a good team like Viet Nam in today’s match. The players played their best according to my technique and the defensive play was very good. However, some players are still nervous. The new players will also get good experience. We will prepare the best for the next match, including the match against Thailand,” said Myanmar national futsal team head coach Mr Bunlert Charoen Wong after the match.
