Drugs seized in Shwepyitha, Pinlaung, Tachilek townships

A combined inspection team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a Honda Fit vehicle driven by Kyaw Swar accompanied by Ma Khin La Pyae Win on No 4 Main Road, Industrial Zone 1 ward in Shwepyitha Township at 2:50 pm on 15 August. The team nabbed 2,000 of stimulant tablets from them. Similarly, the team consisting of the Anti-Drug Special Task Force searched a Hijet car driven by Kun San Yu accompanied by Kun Maung Thein on the Pinlaung-Nay Pyi Taw Road, Hteinpin village- tract in Pinlaung Township at 12 noon on the same day.
The team confiscated 82,000 stimulant tablets from them. And the Anti-Drug Police Force of Tachilek Township searched Ma Nang San Lin and Ma Nang Nun Aung, who are on suspicion at a restaurant in Sang Sai B ward, Tachilek Township at 6:10 pm.
The team seized 0.7 kilogramme of Happy Water and a motorcycle and as an investigation result, the team captured Sai Naw Hlaing and Sai Naw Mhaing, who are drug dealers with a Crown vehicle at the same restaurant at 6:30 pm.
They are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, the Myanmar Police Force stated. — MNA
