With Russian tourists being granted visa-free travel to further strengthen the friendship between Myanmar and Russia, Union Minister Dr Htay Aung of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism virtually received the chief editor of the Ural Airlines Magazine from Russia yesterday in order to support the development of the Russian tourism market in Myanmar.
During the meeting, the Union minister frankly discussed the issues to cooperate in the promotion of Myanmar tourism in Russia, inclusion of destinations in Myanmar in the onboard magazines of Ural Airlines and the invitation for media trips to Myanmar by the Ural Airlines Magazine delegation.
U Lwin Oo, Myanmar’s Ambassador to Russia, directors-general and officials from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and the chief editor of the Ural Airlines Magazine, the sales promotion manager and the flight marketing manager also attended the meeting. — MNA
