Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine received CEO of Thailand Pearl Vacations Co Ltd Mr Komsan Tungthirasuk, and a delegation of Thailand’s famous artistes and travelogue documentaries at the ministry yesterday.
Both sides will collaborate on tourism promotion to enhance awareness of Myanmar’s destinations among Thai and international tourists. Programmes have been devised to attract tourists from Thailand and beyond, including discussions on Kachin State’s snow-capped mountain region, a renowned ASEAN travel destination. Initiatives include inviting Thai business people to explore the area, promoting tourism investment, creating promotional videos, and boosting cooperation with foreign travel documentaries through extensive social media promotion.
