Myanmar delegation leaves for Japan to attend 29th International Hypertension Medical Association meeting

A Myanmar delegation left Yangon International Airport for Japan yesterday evening to attend the 29th meeting of the International Hypertension Medical Association to be held in Kyoto, Japan.
Presidents, secretaries and members of hypertension medical associations around the world will attend the meeting, which will be held from 12 to 16 October 2022.
General Secretary of the Myanmar Hypertension Medical Association under the Ministry of Health Professor Dr Ye Myint, joint Secretary Prof Dr Min Zaw Oo and member Prof Dr Shin Hnaung Lwin will represent Myanmar during the meeting.
In this meeting, they will exchange views on research activities including hypertension prevention and treatment activities, and medical treatment methods for high blood pressure and related medicines.
The Ministry of Health is working to cooperate internationally in the field of medicine, and plans are being made to send more representatives to attend medical seminars and training courses in the not-distant future. — MNA
