Ayeyawady Region team beat Kachin State team 5-0 in the third-place of the SAC Chairman’s Trophy U-18 women’s football tournament yesterday.
As a gesture of hailing the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023, the third-placed match was held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw at 3 pm yesterday.
Among the spectators were SAC members General Mya Tun Oo, Jeng Phang Naw Taung and Dr Banyar Aung Moe, officials of Ministry of Defence, Deputy Minister Dr Myo Thant and wife and Deputy Minister U Myo Hlaing, the Director-General of the Sports and Physical Education Department.
The Mandalay Region team will take on the Shan State team in the final match of the tournament at Wunna Theikdi Stadium at 3 pm on 19 December. Spectators can enjoy the match and admission is free.— MNA/KZL
