The Myanmar national futsal team will begin training on 18 March for the final stage of the 2024 Asian Cup futsal tournament to be played in April.
The Myanmar team will start training days after the league tournament and will prepare with 20 preliminary players. Thailand’s Bunlert Chanlerwong will manage the team as the head coach, and this is the second training session.
Team Myanmar trained for the first time from 20 January to 10 February, then went to Indonesia in the second week of February to play friendly matches against Indonesian clubs. The Myanmar squad will also play friendly matches in this second practice, on 30 and 31 March, as they will play two friendly matches against the Afghanistan national team in Yangon.
In addition, the Myanmar team is trying to play a friendly match with some of the elite teams who have been allowed to compete in the final stage before going to Thailand, where the Asia Cup futsal tournament will be held.
