Drugs seized in Panglong, Tachilek townships

Drugs were seized in Panglong and Tachilek Townships, Myanmar Police Force stated.
A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a motorbike driven by Aikesai in Ward No 4 in Panglong Township and captured 0.01 kilogramme of heroin at 11:30 am on 27 January.
Afterwards, Police Force searched his house in Naungham village in Loilem Township and seized 1,400 stimulant tablets.
In addition, at 5:30 pm on 26 January, Shan State Police Force members seized 6,000 stimulant tablets with a suspected Pyaysone Aung (aka) Myo Kyaw near Wamkaung II village in Tachilek Township.
Those offenders are prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
