Green channel planned for those who need to travel abroad in time

A green channel has been arranged for those who need to travel abroad in an emergency to be able to obtain a passport quickly and passport application has to be made with the recommendations of the relevant ministries, according to the Passport Issuing Office of Myanmar on 23 February.
In applying for a passport through the green channel, MoU workers, religious organizations, those who are going to attend cultural exchange fairs, seafarers, people who are going abroad on leave, people who are going abroad for medical treatment and their helpers, travel agencies, scholars, government employees who are going abroad on business will have to apply with correct and complete personal information and with the recommendations of the director-general and above the level of the respective ministry.
The application will have to be sent through the respective ministry to the chairman of the Myanmar Passport Issuing Office. Then, the passport can be obtained by making an online appointment.
