Two insober sailors drown while swimming

On 20 March in Thanlyin Township, two sailors recently returned from abroad were drowned by swimming in a drunken state.
At 4:15 pm on that day, two men went swimming in the No 2 natural lake of Satkan, Bagosu Ward in Thanlyin Township and got drowned and the Shweyaung Twallatt Social Organization rushed to the scene to rescue them.
It is known that the deceased were sailors, and they were identified as Ko Pyae Sone, aged 32, from Dala Township and Ko Thurein, aged 40, from Insein Township. They were visiting their friend, Ko Ko Myat, who lives at the staff quarters in Thanlyin Township.
According to a resident, they drowned while swimming in the lake as they had been drinking, but it is not confirmed yet.
The body of, Ko Pyae Sone, one of the two drowning victims, was initially discovered at 5 pm on 20 March and was taken to the Public Hospital in Thanlyin Township. It is reported that the search for the remaining body of Ko Thurein is still ongoing. — TWA/CT
