West Yangon University to hold 1st Convocation in April last week

The first convocation of the West Yangon University will hold in the last week of April according to West Yangon University. That will be held from 25 to 30 April for the first time.
Previously, the commencement ceremony for West Yangon University was conducted at Yangon University. However, effective this year, the convocation for distance learning undergraduate students will be organized for the first time.
At the first convocation, degree certificates for the 2019-2020 academic year will be awarded to graduate students who have completed distance learning as it was not organized in 2020-2021 due to COVID-19.
On 28 November 1921, the first convocation of Yangon University was held at the Jubilee Hall in Yangon. The convocation was convened at Jubilee Hall 10 times, and the 11th was held on 28 July 1931 with the opening of the Yangon University Convocation building as a special convocation event for the first time in Yangon University. — TWA/KZW
