MoSWRR provides K30,000 per storm-victim patients at Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed)

Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khaing presents K30,000 per storm-victim patient at Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed) through officials on 23 April.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khaing accompanied by Deputy Minister U Soe Kyi and departmental heads comforted strom-victim patients from TadaU and Aungmyingon villages of Lewe Township at Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed) yesterday morning.
The Union minister and officials presented K30,000 per patient in the vulnerable group comprising pregnant women, older persons above 70 and children under five receiving medical treatments. The cash assistance went to 14 patients through officials of the Ministry of Health and Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed).
Number of storm victims from both villages comprising pregnant women, older persons above 70, children under five and those with disabilities will be collected and the Social Welfare Department under the ministry will further provide K30,000 per person. — MNA/TTA
