Delegation headed by PRC State Councillor & Foreign Minister pays homage to Thatbyinnyu Temple

A delegation led by the People’s Republic of China State Councillor and Foreign Minister Mr Qin Gang departed from Nay Pyi Taw for Bagan. Upon arrival, the delegation was welcomed by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut, Mandalay Region Government Social Affairs Minister U Aung Min, and other officials yesterday.
The delegation met with young individuals from the Chinese embassy in Yangon at the Zhou Enlai Prayer Hall, located within the Shwezigon Pagoda complex in Bagan in the evening.
The delegation visited the Thatbyinnyu Temple, which is under renovation with the help of the Chinese government, and toured Bagan pagodas by car.
The delegation led by the Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister departed from NyaungU. Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut, Mandalay Region government Social Affairs Minister U Aung Min and other officials saw him off at NyaungU Airport. — MNA/KZW
