Indian Embassy to hold International Day of Yoga (IDY 2023) celebrations, competitions

The Indian Embassy in Myanmar has announced that activities and competitions will be conducted to celebrate the International Day of Yoga (IDY 2023).
As the preliminary activities for the IDY 2023 celebration that falls on 21 June 2023, yoga drills will be done all over the country throughout the month of June, the embassy stated.
The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Department of the Indian Embassy in Myanmar conducted collective yoga practices at the Kandawgyi Amusement Park during the days off.
In addition, the Ministry of Ayush (MoA) under the Government of India is organizing a quiz competition to raise public awareness about the importance and advantages of yoga to public health and to celebrate Yoga Day.
Those who want to compete in the quiz competition can visit the embassy’s website and do so until 21 June. — TWA/CT
