Tatmadaw relief teams oversee rehabilitation work in Mocha-affected areas

Healthcare services are provided to schoolchildren yesterday.

To assist in the necessary relief and rehabilitation activities in the areas hit by the natural disaster, the relief teams sent by Tatmadaw in advance, in cooperation with the local security forces and social relief groups, are actively assisting in relevant areas.
The aid and rescue teams that arrived in Ponnagyun cooperated with mobile medical teams to provide healthcare services to the local people in Thasi village and donated rice to the Ywama Monastery Sayadaw.
They cleaned up the ruined buildings at the monastery in the town and donated rice to the local people from Sanpya Ward and Ywahaung Ward at the monastery.
Similarly, the rescue teams arriving in Kyaukpyu, in cooperation with the departments, are working together to clear fallen trees, branches and bushes on the left and right sides of the highway entering the town.
Also, the rescue teams arriving in Buthidaung are clearing the fallen trees, branches and trunks on the side of the road in the town.
Similarly, the rescue teams arriving in Kyauktaw handed over purified drinking water and provided medical treatment to the people and student volunteers and teachers in the vicinity of Maha Kangyishin Pagoda.
They also donated essential foodstuffs to the Sayadaw of the pagoda.
Also, the relief teams arriving in Sittway are clearing fallen trees and big branches along Yaychanpyin Village, Sittway, and providing healthcare to the local people in Mezaligon Village.
Similarly, relief teams arriving in Maungtaw Township are giving health care services to residents in Indin Village.
In cooperation with the local health organizations, the Tatmadaw special medical team including medical staff under the command of the Directorate of Medical Services of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), is based in the local medical battalion in Sittway, and are providing the necessary healthcare services to the local people of Kyamathauk village. —MNA/KZL
