Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting relief supplies to Mocha-hit regions

Foodstuffs and relief items contributed by families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers, and supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for regions affected by Cyclone Mocha are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft and helicopters. A total of 3.3 tonnes of foodstuffs, household appliances, and relief supplies donated by 10 artistes of the Rakhine ethnic group and donors were delivered from Yangon Airport to Sittway Airport by an aircraft of Tatmadaw (Air) yesterday. Relief materials are being delivered in time by planes and helicopters of Tatmadaw (Air), and as of yesterday, 483 tonnes of relief materials plus 3,254 military and departmental personnel who will assist in the rehabilitation work were transported. Helicopters are distributing relief supplies to cyclone-affected areas, and officials receive and distribute them as soon as possible. — MNA/CT
