Indian Air Force delegation visits Maravijaya Buddha Image

The Indian Air Force delegation observes the Agga Dhipati Sasana Beikman at Maravijaya Buddha Image in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The Indian Air Force delegation led by Indian Air Force Wing Commander Savitesh Chandler Mishra visited the world’s tallest Maravijaya Buddha Image in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
First, the pagoda board of trustees and professionals involved in building and maintaining the Buddha Image explained the successful construction process with the video records to the Indian Air Force delegation.
Then, the delegation observed the Agga Dhipati Sasana Beikman and stone plaques bearing inscriptions on Tri Pitaka treatises in Pali and Romanized languages in stone plaque chambers on which small pagodas are built. — MNA/TRKM
