The subversive media are circulating false information claiming that on the evening of 29 March, along the Sagaing-Mingun road, about 50 civilians returning from work were arrested and extorted for ransom money.
On 29 March, members of the Township’s General Administration Department and the traffic police, in cooperation with the traffic control police in some places in Sagaing township, conducted awareness raising for road users to ensure the safety of the road in accordance with traffic and road rules.
The subversive media have been spreading various kinds of fake news, fabricating and writing in a vile and vulgar manner, ever since the People’s Military Service Law came into force. — MNA/TKO
