Razamuni pagoda in World Heritage Site, Bagan

The pilgrims can visit the Kaungmhudaw Razamuni Pagoda of King Thibaw, the last king of Feudalism of Myanmar, near the Thatbyinnyu pagoda of King Alaung Sithu in NyaungU Township of Mandalay Region.
The small pagoda located in front of the Thatbyinnyu pagoda is Kaungmhudaw Razamuni pagoda of King Alaung Sithu. The last King of Myanmar King Thibaw constructed the Razamuni Koetaungpyae pagoda in Bagan where the Kings constructed pagodas, monasteries and religious buildings. Moreover, the historic records show that the Thatbyinnyu pagoda and Razamuni pagoda are in very close position to be certain criteria to compare King Alaung Sithu and King Thibaw. It shows the difference between the developing and destroying situations.
There are Thatbyinnyu pagoda, Nathlaungkyaung, Ngakywe Nataung and Pahtoetharmyar pagodas in the west of Kaunghmudaw pagoda while NanU pagoda, Thandawkyar and the mound of Bagan Palace in the northwest, Thabetkya pagoda and Tharapah gate in the north. — Dipa Lin/KTZH
