Myanmar beauty queen to compete in Miss International 2023 in Japan

Myanmar beauty queen Ei Ei Myint Aung Thein will compete in Miss International 2023 to be held in Japan, according to the Miss International Myanmar organization.
The 61st edition of Miss International is scheduled to be held from 12 to 26 October in Tokyo, Japan and the contestants from 64 countries such as Viet Nam, Malaysia, Brazil, Australia, Korea, Mongolia, New Zealand, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Paraguay, Panama and French will participate in this year’s edition of Miss International.
“The first queen to be sent is cancelled as she has a contract with another. Currently, we select Ei Ei Myint Aung Thein as she doesn’t have any contracts with local or foreign organizations or any official agreements with them. She is a young talent and the new Miss International Myanmar organization decided to send her,” said an official of the organization.
Now, Ei Ei Myint Aung Thein has arrived in Japan and she will live with Mongolia representative Javkhlan within 20 days of the competition.
She competed in Miss Supermodel Worldwide 2022 in India representing Myanmar and won the Miss Supermodel Worldwide Asia award and Face of the Year award. Myanmar beauty queens competed in Miss International from 2012 and 2019 and did not win any placement but Miss Nan Khin Zeyar had won Miss Internet Award in 2012. — ASH/KTZH
