Malicious media spread fake news to discredit security forces

The malicious media outlets are spreading the false information on social media, claiming that the members of security forces checked the trucks carrying medicine and medical supplies, food and garments and allowed the trucks to enter the city after asking for money between K50,000 and K80,000 per truck in Kangyidaunt Township of Ayeyawady Region starting from 28 January.
According to the locals and an official of Ayeyawady Region, there is no inspection point in that township, and the relevant officials conduct regular inspections.
They do not collect extra charges. Therefore, malicious media outlets intentionally spread such fake news to discredit the security forces. — MNA/KTZH
