Misinformation spread by Khit Thit media regarding alleged forced conscription in Bago Region

The malicious media outlet Khit Thit Media has circulated fake news on social media, accusing security forces of forcibly conscripting civilians in Bago Region on 7 April.
According to the false report, ten pedestrians in Minhla Township, three cowherds, and two pedestrians in Okpo Township were allegedly conscripted.
However, a member of the security forces has refuted these allegations, stating that they were merely patrolling the region and did not apprehend anyone.
It is evident that malicious media outlets and individuals are disseminating misinformation in an attempt to instil fear among the public. — MNA/NT
