Khit Thit Media fabricates news stories regarding security forces

Khit Thit Media is spreading fake news on social media platforms, claiming that Tatmadaw destroyed Htanpinhla village in Monywa Township on 30 January by setting it on fire.
In reality, PDF terrorists entered Htanpinhla village around 4:40 am and set it ablaze after looting property from the villagers’ houses. An official responsible for area security confirmed that there were no members of security forces present in or around the village at the time of the incident.
The malicious media circulated fake news again, alleging that Tatmadaw set fire to some houses in Natyaytwin village in Paungde Township, Bago Region, for the second time on 27 January.
The true situation was that PDF terrorists set some houses in the village on fire on 24 January and returned on 27 January to loot valuable items and foodstuffs from some more houses before setting them ablaze. An official responsible for area security also confirmed the absence of security forces in or around the village at the time of the incident.
PDF terrorists are committing attacks by using residential houses as cover and disrupting the socioeconomic life of local people by setting their houses on fire. Subversive media outlets are fabricating and circulating false information to conceal PDF terrorists’ heinous acts and misrepresent members of the security forces. — MNA/TKO
