The subversive media outlet Khit Thit is spreading fake news on social media platforms, alleging that security forces set fire to and destroyed Thetkekyin village in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, on 14 March without engaging in clashes.
The reality is that PDF terrorists are moving around Thetkekyin village, extorting money, and forcibly conscripting youths. As a result, one resident who does not support the PDF terrorists informed the security forces on 14 March. Upon this information, the security forces conducted a security operation and seized two home-made guns and explosive devices from two makeshift tents.
During the local security operation, PDF terrorists launched an attack on the security forces using heavy weapons, resulting in explosions and fires in residential houses, according to an official from the security forces.
However, the malicious media Khit Thit is covering up terror acts perpetrated by PDF terrorists since Khit Thit media supports PDFs and is circulating fake news alleging the security forces on social media. — MNA/TKO
