In honour of the 77th Union Day, a group bicycle ride around Thandwe town will be organized by the Riders Ngapali, according to the group.
The event will start at 6 am on 10 February in front of the PVR Hotel, and cyclists can ride any bicycle. Those who cannot make it to the starting point can join the event along the way.
“The group cycling to commemorate the 77th Union Day will be held on 10 February. It has also been held in previous years. Many hobbyists joined in those events,” said an organizer from the Riders Ngapali.
The route will start from the PVR Hotel at 6 am, go around Thandwe from the Ngapali junction and finish at Mazin airport on Ngapali beach.
Cyclists from Thandwe will meet at Denko filling station, and after joining the Ngapali group, they will cycle around Thandwe to Mazin airport.
The Thandwe District Sports and Physical Education Department has arranged breakfast for all the cyclists at the finish point, the Riders Ngapali group said. — MT/ZN/ED
