The third day of the MSME product show and traditional food sale took place in Tabaung Ground near Uppatasanti Pagoda, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday. The event was crowded with students, youths and those who participated in the Union Day ceremony and locals.
Ko Wai Yan, from Tatkon, said, “We can explore the culture, tradition, local products of ethnic people and well-known places in a single place. I have never seen such dances and costumes of ethnic people before, and I have never tried their traditional food. It is a significant event for me.”
Another visitor, Daw Kay Thi Khine, said, “I came here from Magway as I am interested in MSME products. We can expand our knowledge regarding the local products from regions and states and the traditional food of ethnic people. Moreover, 42 international companies displayed 216 products at the Super Seven Stars Industrial Development gallery. Moreover, 14 high-end types of machinery and abilities of medium-sized entrepreneurs are also screened on 75-inch TVs, and the staff explained them. Therefore, it is very beneficial to those interested in MSME sectors.”
The show also included entertainment programmes in the evening.
The MSME products and traditional foodstuffs from regions and states are available in a single place, and visitors can observe the traditions and customs of ethnics from 10 to 14 February. – Than Min Aung, Jaing Law/KTZH
