Gyobyu water supply pipeline to be laid along Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge (Dala) for consumption in Dala Township

The Gyobyu water supply pipeline will be laid across the Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge (Dala).
According to reports, the Yangon City Development Committee will lay the water pipeline for Dala Township along the bridge, in addition to the construction of a Toll Plaza on the Dala side.
Union Minister for Construciton U Myo Thant, along with Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, inspected the site chosen for the Toll Plaza and the ongoing approach bridge construction on 18 February.
Consultant engineer Mr Bae provided a clarification on progress of the project, plans for further implementation, and priority tasks.
The Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge (Dala) is one of the bridges built in Myanmar with the highest water clearance and the highest bridge deck. The main bridge and the approach bridges were designed to ensure the safety of vehicles driving at 50 km per hour, and 30 km per hour on the slope bridges. —TWA/MKKS
