Gyobyu water supply pipeline to be laid along Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge (Dala) for consumption in Dala Township

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations will set up a Start-Up Centre to bridge the network between entrepreneurs and investors.
MIFER Union Minister Dr Kan Zaw addressed at a meeting held on 15 February that the Start-Up Centre is required to connect entrepreneurs to the investors at the ministry.
The Union Minister also mentioned to accelerate the micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) activities in order to enhance agriculture and livestock sectors and MSMEs, have self-sufficiency for edible oil and boost exports.
There are 24 groups registered at the ministry, as per the statistics of the private industries. Of them, 10,205 large-scale industries, 12,457 medium-scale industries and 24,457 small-scale industries, totalling 47,119.
The Union Minister highlighted the need to create investment opportunities to attract investors and spur investments. He also emphasized to learn clear patterns in how foreign businesses raise capital to attract FDIs, to measure total factor productivity for export promotion and to provide domestic investment facilitation in order to bolster agribusinesses productivity in respective regions and states. — TWA/EM
