Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing meets those from Senior Advisory Board and MISIS.

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for the Ministry of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office (1), delivered the remarks at the meeting with members of the Senior Advisory Board and the Executive Board of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS), which was held at the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies’ meeting room in Yangon yesterday.
At the meeting, the Union Minister explained the position and policy of the Government, current implementation of the ministries and the plans to be carried out in the future as well. Furthermore, he urged the MISIS to boost the cooperation not only in the regional but also in the international intellectual context, and to contribute to the nation with analysis and recommendations from the academic’s perspectives through the effective use of their expertise, experience and knowledge.
Then, members of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies reported to the Union Minister on the undertaking activities of the Institute and future direction. — MNA
