Organized by Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA), next batch of basic sewing machine operator training course will be conducted in March to help to expand job opportunity.

The course batch no.234 has been scheduled to open at Myanmar Garment Human Resources Development Centre (MGHRDC) from 4 to 22 March.

The training course aims to help creating jobs for job seekers from other regions and states and those who want to work at garment factories and connect them with garment factories after they complete the course.

“We help to find jobs if those out of trainees want to work when our member factories have vacancies. Now there are labour demands at factories so we have recruited those who want job,” said an official from the training course.

The course includes teaching knowledge about garment industry, practical course for step by step sewing and education about the labour law
