A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a house of Kyaw Swa Win in Pyigyidagun Township at 6:30 am on 19 February. Police arrested Kyaw Swa Win, Aye Chan Thu and Myo Min Thein with 8.25 kilogrammes of heroin from a Nissan diesel truck.
Similarly, the police force examined a hotel room stayed by Chan Nyein Phyo in Aungmyaythazan township at 1 pm on 23 February and seized 1.752 kilogrammes of heroin.
They are charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
