Thai naval warship arrives in Yangon for goodwill visit

The special delegation from the Thai naval vessel seen being welcomed on its arrival at Thilawa Port yesterday.

Royal Thai naval warship HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan (OPV-552) arrived at Thilawa Port in Yangon yesterday morning for a goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The warship was welcomed by Tatmadaw (Navy) officers and other ranks, as well as the Thai Naval Attaché to Myanmar.
The warship is visiting as a goodwill trip led by Rear Admiral Pongmit Narongkul, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Navy’s 3rd Naval Area Command.
The special delegation will stay in Yangon for three days until 3 March, visiting famous places and conducting friendly sports competitions between the two navies. — MNA/KZL
