Misleading reports regarding Tatmadaw actions in Mandalay Region

Certain subversive media outlets have deliberately spread false news alleging that Tatmadaw security forces forcibly expelled residents from Nanwintawpo Village of Natogyi Township and Kanswe Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, on 1 March. Additionally, they claim that the security forces seized money and valuables from the villagers.
However, both on-ground reports and an official responsible for security have confirmed that these allegations are untrue. They assert that the news story was fabricated with the intention of tarnishing the reputation of Tatmadaw security forces.
In reality, Tatmadaw security forces are conducting operations in towns and cities across Mandalay Region to prevent any terrorist activities by PDF insurgents. — MNA/ TMT
