Mandalay Region’s cultural zones to open for Thingyan holidays

U Aung Aung Kyaw, Director (Admin) of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum, recently said that the cultural zones of Mandalay Region, including Pinya Cultural Zone, Inwa Cultural Zone and Bagan Cultural Zone, will be accessible to the public for exploration and relaxation during coming Thingyan holidays.
“The cultural zones, which attract numerous visitors annually, will be open during the Thingyan holidays as usual,” stated U Aung Aung Kyaw. “Additionally, Bago Cultural Zone and Sri Kestra Cultural Zone will also be open, although the museums in those zones will remain closed.”
However, it has been reported that the Myanansankyaw Golden Palace will be closed during these days. — ASH/ TRKM
