MoI UM meets staff of affiliated departments in Yangon

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with the staff of affiliated departments under the ministry at Studio A of MRTV in Yangon yesterday.
First, he inspected the recording sessions at Studio 1 and Studio A.
During the meeting with the staff, he said he met staff serving duties in Yangon to comfort them. Although all have different aims, the common intention is the development and prosperity of the nation.
Moreover, AI development can lead to technological war, so all should study media-related technologies while watching the activities of the government continuously to be able to provide the public with factual information.
He also highlighted the need to persuade young people to use the right methods and raise their awareness regarding religion, culture, and traditions in media ways.
He continued that government employees should make efforts for the interest of the country by applying their knowledge and opinions related to the geopolitical and geo-economic status.
He then urged the staff to carry out their respective duties in unity, whereas the ministry is a focal one that connects the government and the public.
He also clarified the People’s Military Service Law and the critical role of accurate information.
Then, the Union Minister and party drew lots of five MRTV DTH satellite dishes and 100 DVB T2 Set Top Boxes for the staff and cordially met them.
The Union Minister also inspected the warehouse of the Printing and Publishing Department in Yangon on the same day. — MNA/KTZH
