The Indian ambassador calls on Deputy Prime Minister Union Foreign Affairs Minister U Than Swe yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, who has completed his tour of duty in Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the call, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister commended the Ambassador’s contributions towards further strengthening the bilateral ties during his tour of duty. They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the promotion of the traditional bonds of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as the progress of the ongoing development projects between the two countries. — MNA
