Academy Khant Sithu, friends donate food, household items to Hlegu flood victims

Academy Khant Sithu and his friends donated foodstuffs and household items to flood victims in the Hlegu Township of Yangon Region on 12 October.
About 200 vulnerable flood victims were relocated at Lepaw Monastery in Kyunkalay village of Hlegu township and the actor and party donated food and household items worth K10 million at the medical camp of the Public Health Department in the monastery compound.
“We donated 20 bags of rice (24-pyi per bag), water bottles, Electrolyte Beverage, instant noodles, lighters and candles, medicines and medical supplies, detergent powder, snacks, dried fish and fish sauce, Royal D, insecticide and basic foodstuffs and comforted the victims,” said Academy Khant Sithu.
Academy Khant Sithu and his friends donated K1.5 milliona for drinking water at Kham Dhamma Yeiktha of IBP in Taunggyi of Shan State on 7 October. — ASH/KTZH
